If you've never been on a cruise before, you are likely tove lots of questions about it. How do I get to the ship from the airport? Are meals included in the price? What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise? These are all great questions and we've got the answers for you!

Where can I find the best airfare prices?

How do I get to the ship from the airport?

If you purchase transfers, when you arrive at the airport there will someone from AMAWaterways to greet you and show you to the shuttle that will take you to the ship.

Are meals included in the price?

All meals (except at the specialty restaurants) are included. That also includes room service!

What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise?

Anything in the gift shops, alchohol, sodas and the specialty restaurants. Tips for your cabin steward, waiter and assistant waiter are extra.

What kind of entertainment is there on ship?

AMAWaterways offers a full program of daily included shore excursions, as well as entertainment and educational options.

What should I pack?

We suggest that you have layers for the days in port and at sea. Whatever you wear at home that you are comfortable in is what you can wear when at port. We suggest resort casual for dining as no jeans, shorts, T-shirts or swimwear are allowed in the dining areas.

Is there a gym on the ship?

WELLNESS AREA: Located in the aft area of the Violin Deck, this generously designed space includes a glassed-in fitness room, massage and beauty salon; the aft lounge with modern wicker furniture and French doors to enjoy the fresh river air.

Do I need a passport?

Effective December 31, 2006, the U.S. Government will require that all our U.S. citizens be in possession of a valid passport when traveling on any cruise.

What do you do when the ship is in port?

Each port there is an excursion planned.

Will I get seasick?

Chances are you will not. However, if you tend towards motion sickness, you can purchase something over the counter or see your Doctor before you go.
